Xiaomi 12S Ultra Xiaomi.EU Rom Support

Through DHL, I once sent a package to a friend in Israel.
I remember receiving via DHL before, they like taking arbitrary fees for imaginary services no one ever ordered or agreed to pay for... o.o

@Igor Eisberg donations, have they already been reached?
After PayPal fees, we reached $1098 which is in the range or the device's price (not including import taxes and shipping, if any).

Will development for 12S and 12S Pro be easier when you get the 12S Ultra? The phones have the same SoC. Sorry for the noob question :p

12S and 12S Pro are not far away from their predecessors, the 12 and 12 Pro, minus some Leica additions.
Already have a Xiaomi 12, can't imagine them being too different in terms of software (and even hardware).
12S Ultra is special with a camera setup never seen before, but with some testing a ROM should be feasible.

Sorry guys, I might have caused a bit misunderstanding. When I said happy to donate, i mean i can chip in some money like 50 or so. Not in the financial situation to donate the whole phone now. but I wanna help.
Any donation towards the cause is appreciated. Thanks for being willing to donate.

Just a curious question. How does a china rom turn in to an EU rom? Like whats the process for example when for example the 12s ultra is release? Would really like to know :)

Uhm... too long to put into words. A bit like explaining how flour turns into instant noodles... Generally speaking, a bunch of unpacking, modifications, patches, etc. are applied over it using our automated build system, using both AOSP tools and custom-made tools, and eventually repacking. We just need to make sure that everything is done correctly and make the required changes either for changes in a new release or device-specific changes, when necessary.
So yeah, our ROMs factory = instant noodles factory.

Ah okay! Sounds really cool, but tedious! Looking forward though!

Joining in on the donation. I'm currently on a Mi 9 and really eyeing moving to a 12S Ultra. At least this gives a little bit of beer while cooking up the rom.

Truth be told, I couldn't care any less how much money we help Xiaomi make, which, basically, what you're saying boils down to...
True !! U are helping xiaomi making so much money across the globe thanks to your unpaid work !! They should stop making phone with no languages support and very bad notifications management, same for Oppo ! I wont buy that phone...they can keep it for China market only !
