o read that from 31 October 2022 there will be no more weekly rom available for Mi 10 ultra and other devices ..
so does this mean also no stable updates or even just security updates for the first xiaomi with the name ultra ?
this device is only 2 years old ..
it's crazy for me and was even the celebration of 10 years anniversary for xiaomi ...
so will this device stop support for security updates on 31 October ?

The Stable ROM update will continue.
The end of support only applies to weekly ROMs.
but I thought the stable allways comes from the what they do on the weekly.
this decision to stop comes from xiaomi and that's why I was afraid xiaomi.eu wouldn't have nothing to work on for this device because their rom are built from the China version of xiaomi

im not complaining ..I was just asking to know what I can count with this device from xiaomi ..
it's not xiaomi.eu fault that they will stop support for the first ultra device they made only 2 years ago ....
im super happy with Xiaomi.eu job and has been allways the rom I use .
so it was just a question ....
also the other custom ROMs for this device doesn't even compare to xiaomi.eu in my opinion

Devices that have global only also get roms here so its not depending on whenever they have weekly roms or china rom.

but mi 10 ultra was a China only phone ....
there's only China ROMs for xiaomi.eu to work base on what xiaomi does ...
I've tried looking for a good custom rom but this device didn't sell much so the usual known custom builds did not work on xiaomi Mi 10 ultra ...
it's a shame for me cause its still an amazing phone but I would like to know that I have a good updated security patch at least ...

weekly roms are just weekly beta roms, this way you get to test updates earlier and maybe also get more bugs than the stable.

My Xiaomi 11T Pro is not available in China but i still get Xiaomi.EU Roms, they have to modify the roms for the devices that dont have china rom base.

it was xiaomi oficial that said from 31st October 2022 no more updates for Mi 10 ultra and a couple more devices ....
don't forget your phone is newer than mine ..
it has nothing to do with China or global version ....
it's just the end of the line for the xiaomi support for their first ultra phone and only 2 years after ...
at least this is what I understand from the news I read from xiaomi itself

Why are you still here crying? I already replied to you that Stable ROM support for Mi 10 Ultra is continuing.
The absence of weekly ROMs does not affect Stable ROM updates.
There were no weekly ROMs for a lot of models.

Mi 10 Ultra, Redmi K30S Ultra/Mi 10T/Mi 10T Pro, Redmi Note 9 Pro/Mi 10T Lite, Redmi Note 9 4G/Redmi 9T."

There still will be Stable Roms just no more Weekly roms for the Devices named above.

So that means: When my Mi11 runs out of weekly updates in a few month.. do I have to reset my phone to install the monthly version? Or can I wait until monthy version is on the same level of weekly and then just continuing updates without reset?
