Xiaomi 14 network issue in Australia

I have travelled to Australia and I'm having issues with using my Xiaomi 14 mobile networks.
I bought the phone in the UK and have travelled to the US and Singapore and it worked fine there. (It worked both on the eSim and on my UK SIM in Singapore just a few days ago)
Since arriving to Australia I can't get either an AU eSim or my UK SIM to get any connection at all.
I've checked for updates, I've tried resetting both SIM settings, and nothing has helped at all.
I've added a screenshot of my current version etc.
Has anyone had similar issues or know of any fixes please?

Thank you I will try that, is it because I'm in Australia that I'm getting the issue? Because it worked fine in Singapore the day before, and no update ran in the meantime that I know of? It seems very sudden

I am having the exact same issue right now, got my Xiaomi 14 in Germany, and all my SIMs don't function in Australia. Did you fix it somehow?

I am having exactly the same issue too. Have you solved this? I did not try eSIM yet

Honestly, I did not... I relied on public WiFi and my wife's phone for the trip. I had 2 physical German SIMs and one Australian travel eSIM. Nothing got signal, it's definitely a phone issue and there were no settings to fix it. Sorry mate.

Thanks for the quick feedback. I will definitely need to buy a new phone since I am staying 6 months. That sucks since I bought this one for this trip

This is irrelevant now since the last update built it in to automatically install but global houji devices have always required a manual flash of the global modem firmware to replace the CN modem firmware or you'll get no signal

Try the latest update it should fix your issues, there's always been sticky post that details how the modem firmware image needs to be reflashed to global after flashing, the last update integrated an automatic check and flashes the correct modem firmware

The questioner is not using the xiaomi.eu ROM but the official EEA ROM. As you can see in the screenshot he attached.

Why are these people posting here? flash the Xiaomi.eu rom or post elsewhere.

Though I guess they could try flashing the the modem_firmwareww image from the latest release and see if it works
