Nexus One

Great mod, but it's not working on my nexus one with this weeks update. Anyone else with that problem? or is it just my phone?

Me too not working this week maybe bevause the 4 way combo cancels it out?

Sent from my GT-I9000 using the miuiandroid.com forum app

Doesn't work on Milestone 1.8.19. Unable to flash (Status:7).

I'm using a new script this week that uses SIAM (see link)
When I posted the Mod the Milestone wasn't supported but now it is. Try redownloading the Mod and flashing again, it should work.

SIAM

There seems to be an issue with the Nexus One and the new script I'm using. It's supposed to be supported but as you've found out it's not working.. I'll post a Nexus One specific version of this mod today...

same for i9010 (Armani Captivate)
used ADB PUSH method but Volume+ don't working and 'reboot to download' too

I'm surpised that the volumn control doesn't work. The code is no different and it's been working for a while without issues? As for the download mode, does that even work on your phone? It doesn't work on my i9000..

I just flashed the new version with no luck. Thanks for trying though. Hopefully next week's update works out. Nonetheless, great work.

Hey, I can't figure out how to change the default music player. I am using 1.8.19 and would like PowerAMP to be my default player. I already read that I should be able to change it under Settings->Applications->default Applications
But I don't have this entry :-(
When I try to skip the track with PowerAMP running, the miui music app is being started so I have two apps playing music at the same time... How to fix that?

Hi.. The option has moved. It's now under Settings>System>Button Settings.. (Don't ask me why!!!)

EDIT: Roenano beat me to it

The idea is to make the player default so it can be controlled by the earphones remote control (buttons). But I believe they should have kept the Default applications options, it was pretty handy for setting default apps.

BTW, did you get my PM?

Hi,

I am trying to integrate together this mod with 4-way reboot mod. I have baksmalied android.policy.jar from your mod and 4-way reboot mod and compared both directories to see the changes made to original android.policy.jar. I saw there are several changes that looks different in both patches thus the simple file replace and pack won't work. I am wondering how do you patch the original jar file? By using some kind of script (sed for example) or just replacing the smali files ?

Thanks

This mod already includes the 4 way reboot option..

To answer your question I don't have a script to apply the code each week. I compare the latest version and the modified version and re-apply my changes by hand..

Thanks a lot for your work, it's a time consuming one :)

Is there any way we could get this implemented in the ROM? I know many times in the changelog it says "Suggested", where do we suggest? It would be great if it were in the settings so you could turn it on or off..as in CM7

Thank you very much
I have searched long time for that kind of mod
And its working perfectly on my nexus s (I9020T)
