1.8.19 - Mobile Network connection problems

HTC Desire:
I always have to manually search for available networks after I have clicked on Mobile Networks in Toggles. I use 3G preferred network and have also tried to use Automatically search for preferred networks. It is big problem to connect to my network operator (Sweden3G). Is this a HTC Desire problem or is it the settings in MIUI which causes the problem?

I also have Sweden 3G and Telia when swithing to 2G.
I´ve never experience a problem finding the operator. X10 MIUI 1.8.19.

My problem is however that many times per day when it automaticly swithes to 2G/3G or reverse, the data traffic stops.
I am not able to use market/web.
I´m then forced to switch to flightmode and back, first then the web i working. Really annoying.

I'm on the Samsung Vibrant and am having problems connecting to the internet, too. There is no information in the APN. I manually enter all the info, save, and it all disappears.
