Because i am without a smartphone for 6 months now, I couldn't wait any longer. So i bought a Mi 8 Lite which I will use for some months. I'll probably buy the Mix 3 when the global version launches. My girlfriend will kill me :)

Thanks for you answer! I'm living in the Dutch part of Belgium so my French writing isn't the best. I do understand everything you've written. I know someone living in China and both the Mix 3 and Mi 8 pro have the same price: 450 euro. She took some screenshots for me from a Xiaomi store :)

I just wanted a 'cheaper' phone. I will probably get a Mix 3 eventually so spending alot on a Mix 2s now would be foolish. This Mi 8 lite i bought now i just to have a smartphone while i'm waiting for the global Mix 3 (and a price drop maybe? :D )

I've read about flashing roms and i came across TWRP. Any idea how long it mostly takes to have TWRP for a new model? After knowing this, maybe best to just wait some longer...
