I can confirm that the setting is absent also on my Mi5 with latest update and it was absent in an older weekly too. Might it depend on the language? @graw2

Well, it's not really a beta, but being a weekly developer one should assume that he may encounter some issues. For the early users it becomes kind of a beta and it's good that they report bugs here...

Of course testers should test, but Xiaomi.eu is not a huge team as I could guess, and it might not be that easy for them to test everything in less than a week's time. It's normal that once in a while some bugs might show up...

I wrote it a few posts back, just download previous rom, wipe system and then flash.

Yes, you normally need to wipe system only when going back or changing rom. When updating the same rom it's not necessary. Anyway, you need to go into Wipe > advanced wipe > select only system and then swipe the arrow to wipe the partition. Now you are ready to flash. [emoji108]

The problem is that translations are not updated to support latest implementations in security app, so they cause it to FC. Now just revert back to previous rom and stop complaining. [emoji112]

Okay, I made a couple of tests and it seems that this is happening only if I switch off my Mi5 while already charging. If I switch it off and then plug in charger it will boot just fine... Inviato dal mio MI 5 utilizzando Tapatalk
