Tapatalk showed me an update this morning. Version is 4.13. And they are working now. I think is a tapatalk issue rather than miui, since other apps were receiving them regularly.

Do you have also issue with tapatalk notification?

I think it's a language setting issue. I use italian and it doesn't show, but changing to english or french (i tried them) both prev button and meteo widget appear in notification shade.

Anyway, tapatalk notification aren't working either.

I too don't see the "prev" button of music widget on notification shadow. I have a Redmi 2 with 2gb RAM.

As ingbrzy wrote, you should buy a wcdma version. I also advice you to check which frequency your network provider uses, just to be sure you won't have problems. According to device specs, this phone will only work with GSM+WCDMA network GSM 850/900/1800/1900MHz WCDMA 900/2100MHz. No LTE.

I own a Hongmi 1s and I would recommend it. It's true that 3g connectivity is an issue for this device, but you can use a temporal workaround setting "3G only" option as default. Battery life is ok in my opinion. And snapdragon processor does quite a good job. The downside? As it is a low end...
