Not a bug, CTS/SafetyNet does not pass on Poco F2 Pro (and perhaps other devices) if you change your ROM. You will have to root your phone using Magisk (21.1 or superior, currently beta branch) and follow this tutorial...

Hm, it was working just fine on 20.12.28 and official EEA ROM... Did they remove that feature and made it work with the gesture bar visible only now?

If you check the post date, this was made before the TWRP port. Also, if you read the TWRP post itself, you can see that I commented on it already.

Weird, it fails for me when I try to flash it. Error 7, and it says "Please mount /system" (which I did mount but after it fails, going back to "mount", it unchecked itself).

Hi there, congrats on winning a Poco M3. Sorry to hear that you have some problem with your default install, but if you're willing to use xiaomi.eu rom, then no worries. TWRP is not available on the M3 yet, but you just have to follow this tutorial to install Xiaomi.eu on the M3 without TWRP...

So now that we know what caused the problem (custom wallpapers), will this be fixed in some next beta or do we have to wait for an official fix (since I now see it there for some reason)? I can generate logs if needed it.

Oh, it does work with super wallpaper applied! This would be a temporary workaround while devs eventually fixes the issue I suppose. I don't really want to stick with these wallpapers for my part. But thanks for the tip!

I finally managed to test the chinese ROM on a friend's poco f2 pro (didn't want to wipe data on mine again), and the issue did not show. However, he had the problem after installing 20.12.9. I also confirm the issue is still present on 20.12.29 (12.5)

To me, this might be linked to the kind of problem I wrote on another thread (Android 11 chat bubbles not working). These kind of issues only affects a few devices, but only on the xiaomi.eu ROM. No idea why though. It's a bit annoying..
