    Hey M1cha, Thanks for your answer. Since I do not have a working MI2s, could you or somebody else in this board could measure the values of these tantalum capacitors and send it to me? I still have to find out more about the square shaped IC.

The phantom touches are still there (sometimes more, sometimes less), so it's definitely hardware related. My guess is that the touchscreen is too heaviley attached to the display and that's why...
