I've had this problem as well since I've had this phone. On all stable ROMS until now.

I don't think just installing the gallery apk will solve your issue. You might be better off just doing a backup and then installing the ROM from a fresh start.

In 10.2.3 I get a weird bug where some headphones with microphone are not recognized as headphones. So things like the equalizer or the sound effects do not work. Hs anyone else encountered this?

I'll leave the answer here, if anyone cares. Apparently, it's no longer possible to create new backups, or restore existing ones, when outside of China. So the only way I could get a backup process to work was by using a Chinese VPN.

I can't seem to back up my phone anymore. The backup gets stuck after uploading ~0.3GB. When I check the status and details of the backup it shows as corrupted. Does anyone else have this problem? Any solutions?
