Be sure that you've installed TWRP as your recovery manager. Then, upgrading from a stable version will work without losing your data.

Hello, there is no difference, just the new name for the device since MIUI 7.3 I think. Did you install TWRP first ? I succesfully installed MIUI 7.3.4 stable on my redmi 2 HM2014813 with the WT86047 rom.
