Enable Mobile Data On Boot? (aways Off?)

It seems mobile data is always off when my Redmi 2 boots. I can't find a setting to change it. Is this 'as designed'? Am i missing a setting? Any way to change this?

Weird. I'm not rebooting often but I never had to re-enable my data.

Nice to know it can work. Now hoping for someone pointing me in a direction that makes it work for me as well ;-)

I'm on a stable version. Maybe the issue comes from the ROM.

I update every week, am on "MIUI 5.8.6|Beta" currently.
