hi,
I'm on 9.2 stable on my redmi 3. I want to update through update app.
It downloads the right rom, but when i press install my phone only reboots.
Won't install the rom. I'm on TWRP 3.2.1.0, system read-only selected. Should i update TWRP?
I have tried to install stable for my redmi 3 (file:
xiaomi.eu_multi_HM3_V8.5.2.0.LAICNED_v8-5.1.zip
) but i got a zip verification error upon flashing in TWRP
Please see enclosed screenshot
@MeiGuddet :
I noticed there is another version uploaded on august 2nd . Most probably an error with the developpers? The file has a different MD5 checksum although strangely enough the filesize on androidfilehost states the file is 711MB whilst downloaded file is 745MB. Checksum is correct...
@MeiGuddet : thanks for your input, I managed to go to TWRP through this key combination. But upon installing the new update xiaomi.eu_multi_HM3_V8.5.2.0.LAICNED_v8-5.1 it finishes too quickly and upon booting (which takes some extra minutes as if to finish the update) I'm still in 8.2.2.0...
Help! I've tried to install xiaomi.eu_multi_HM3_V8.5.2.0.LAICNED_v8-5.1.zip having previously version xiaomi.eu_multi_HM3_V8.2.2.0.LAICNDL_v8-5.1 but the update somehow dit not completed fully. I'm still stuck at 8.2.2.0.
Even worse, I have no WIFI anymore and cannot boot into Recovery (TWRP)...
Hi,
I have an xiaomi redmi 3 with MIUI 8.2.2.0 (LAICNDL) stable by xiaomi.eu and an Xiami earphones hybrid pro.
I have serious issues with the on cord control of the earphones. Quite often (maybe 1 out of 2 times) when i press Next it fast forwards the song. Same with previous but then it plays...
I cannot use Mi PC suite to make a backup (it doesn't recognize this rom apparantly). Is a backup with MI Cloud enough to restore my data (settings, messages, call history...)?
Hi, I'm still on version 6.5.26 (the last MIUI 7) on my Redmi 3. I'm wondering whether I can upgrade to MIUI 8 directly or do i need to perform a device wipe first?

That's odd, i also have this same version (xiaomi.eu dev 6.4.21). But I have not rooted it through TWRP and also i chose to mount system partition as read only.

thanks for your image, that clears up the confusion. Is it possible to install a different CIT?
Possible no since this is attachted to the firmware?
What rom are you running?
Yes, that's exactly what I've done but please take a look at my screenshots. I think i have a different CIT. I do not see any numbers in this menu.
thanks
Do you mean engineering mode? I tried it, but no calibration option. See screenshots for the enineering menu i got:
i cannot post the images since i do not have enough posts yet, but here is a link to the album with pictures of what i've done (remove spaces)

Hi,
I have a problem with my xiaomi redmi 3 with MIUI 6.4.21 installed. When I playce my phone perfectly horizontal, It is still showing +-7 degrees. So in games, it is very annoying as you have to hold the phone wrong to drive straight. In other versions, there is a setting to recalibrate the...
Hi,
I've been looking on this forum but cannot find the correct answer.
I want to run a stable rom, but will I get OTA updates on this or do I have to flash manually?
On the weekly developer release pages i can read this:
So we decided to upload OTA only once per month and not weekly...
