On my mi4c same thing happened after upgrade to N7. Administrators said it is not a bug your phone turns off 2 cores when you are texting or surfing the web in order to save battery and turns everything on when any app needs CPU extra power. I imagine it is the same on your redmi 4.

Yap some admin told me it's not a bug, it is a matter of miui developers... But I agree with you... I do have 6 cores on my phone and I want to use them all...

The thing is the ROM includes a feature to calculate discounts, I think we all know how to calculate discounts on our own, we're just discussing about the way to use it

I have installed today's update and still think it's not worth, the 6.22.12 version was perfect, battery life was way better then than on Android 7. It looks like upgrading to A7 would be worth enough when MIUI 9 would be released by August '17. By the time I would stay on A5.1, none differences...

Update running smoothly on my mi4c, but why there are 2 cores stopped? On 6.12.22 all of them were working, after updating to Android 7 core 4 and 5 stopped and for this update it stills the same...

I just flashed the reuploaded ROM for mi4c. Previously I installed the TWRP 3030 via ADB sucessfully. Then went to the update app in my phone and selected the reuploaded ROM for mi4c. The phone rebooted at recovery but it was doing nothing so I selected to flash the .zip package again...

Hi, you need a computer. It's very easy, I don't think you even need to install any drivers, you just need to go to en.miui/unlock and proceed, you'll have to request permission from xiaomi to unlock your bootloader, I'm sure there are millions of post about it on this forum. Good luck on it...

Hi! 7.2.9 Installed and running correctly on my Mi4C. Unlocked bootloader perfectly after flashing 7.2.9 At the beginning the phone was very slow (no FC appeared), but few minutes later everything was ok. Still not smooth enought to me, I'll keep an eye on it to see if performance improves...
