    HyperOS 1.0 23.11.27/30

Crashes for me in Fuxi (xiaomi 13) Oh wait - I just fully closed my Gallery app (force stop as well) and reopened it, now it's working fine :emoji_thinking:

    HyperOS 1.0 23.11.27/30

Can confirm, newest version works like a charm with Google Wallet / Pay. Had to install the APK though, but I assume that's the one that holds the information about what is being sent to the Play Integrity endpoints (Since it updated an internal module / application)

    HyperOS 1.0 23.11.8/13/16

And now it throws the error again. Might actually be something on Google's servers, but I'm not sure... Surprisingly, opening the quick action in the control center still works...? Okay, now I really don't understand what's going on with this :emoji_laughing:

    HyperOS 1.0 23.11.8/13/16

Just updated as well, everything went smooth! Getting an issue with the Google Wallet app like some other people though Trying to open it brings up this error: Going to Settings - Google - Settings for Google Apps - Google Wallet does work, and I can add and use cards just fine, so it seems...

    MIUI 14 Per-App Language support?

Yeah sorry, what I meant to say was that those are the options I know of to have those languages in a language other than the system language, without the use of this new API. Looking at that blog post though it doesn't even seem that difficult to implement, which makes this even more annoying...

    MIUI 14 Per-App Language support?

Ah I see, that's a bummer honestly. I have my system language set to English since I prefer most apps in English. However, some apps I'd like to have in my native language and they unfortunately don't give an in-app language selector option (even though they clearly have support for those...

    MIUI 14 Per-App Language support?

Hey everyone! So with MIUI 14 being on Android 13 I was curious about the Per-App Language option that Android 13 added. I've looked through the settings but couldn't find anything in regards to it, even on the Xiaomi EU rom. I've found an option in the Hidden Settings app called "App Locale...

    MIUI 14 23.2.27/2.28/3.6

Managed to unlock my new Xiaomi 13 yesterday and installed the newest weekly. Went super smooth! Thank you for this hybrid method! :) Kind of a shame that MIUI 14 doesn't have support for the new Android 13 per-app locale / language option (when trying to open that menu from the Hidden Settings...

    MIUI 12.2 20.9.17

I'll tag onto this - Mi 10 Ultra with the selfie camera When doing a video whilst Image Stabilization is it's shown in green Example here: Interestingly enough the cut green bar at the top is moving a bit. I assume that's the image stabilization trying to work it's magic, but failing since...

    [GUIDE] How to install Xiaomi.eu ROM for Redmi K30 / K30 5G

Yay! Thank you for having found a way to still flash the ROM, regardless of whether we have TWRP or not! Gonna try it on my 2 K30s in a bit, I'll edit this post to give a status update //EDIT: Yep, got them working! Neat!

    9.4.25/26

So I've stumbled upon the news that the next MIUI version apparently adds "Moon mode" support for the Mi 9 SE (which, up until this point, was apparently an exclusive feature to the Mi 9 itself, but not present in the EU Rom as of now) Additionally, I've noticed that the camera app in this...

    9.4.25/26

Just updated to this and can't open the Miui Camera app anymore - keeps on saying that it can't connect to the camera :/ Interestingly enough the *no-support-for-this-app-on-this-forum* works fine...

    9.3.28

They're called BETA for a reason. If you want a more stable experience, consider installing the STABLE releases, but keep in mind that they lack new / experimental features.

    9.3.28

I've done a quick recording about this so you can see what it is. Effectively, it's Mi's own take on Google's "Motion Photos", where it takes multiple pictures (or rather, a short video?) within a short time period (seems to be 1-2 seconds) and later on allows you to take the best / alternative...

    9.3.28

Wait, so it's actually working on devices other than the Mi 9? That's impressive! Happy to see that Mi didn't make it exclusive to that device :D /Edit: Yup! Working on my end, too! Thank you for this, @Igor Eisberg :) I assume this is going to be in the next weekly then?

    9.3.28

If only there was some open standard as to how developers / manufacturers are supposed to do this, then cross-compatibilty would be possible, but oh well... As for "other more sophisticated app" - Doesn't Google just assume that if you have the *no-support-for-this-app-on-this-forum* you... also have Google Photos? I...

    9.3.28

When I first setup my phone after I got it (which was with the China stable ROM, I'm pretty sure), Mi's version of motion photos was working in their own Gallery app, so I assume they are using their own technology to get that working, meaning it's probably incompatible with Google's Photos app...

    9.3.28

Tried flashing it in TWRP, gave me the following error: Installing zip file '/sdcard/DownloadMiuiGallery_9.3.28.flashable.zip' Checking for Digest file... Skipping Digest check: no Digest file found set_metadata: some changes failed Updater process ended with ERROR: 7 Error installing zip file...

    9.3.28

Is there something I could help out with in regards to testing? As said in a previous post, I'm more than happy to flash an experimental build that might have it working. My assumption with it missing something in regards to the Gallery app is in my opinion still the closest guess I have for...

    9.3.28

@Igor Eisberg Did you guys by any chance have another look into what could prevent the dynamic shots from working in the gallery? Perhaps it is some feature that's available in the China stable for other phones as well, but it's just not enabled in the Global stable / beta yet, so yeah...
