My issue is TWRP cannot decrypt the storage. You know, access the storage after it's encrypted, like it's supposed to do.
You do NOT need to wipe the device every time you want to access encrypted storage.

If you boot in to TWRP, you can access your phones internal storage over USB. Copy the latest ROM zip to your phone and install it through TWRP like you would anything else.
It's down to personal preference at the end of the day. Did you get the Mi 6X for MIUI? If so go for Xiaomi.eu. Do you prefer a stock Android? If so go for Pixel Experience.
Has anyone else got issues with decrypting /data in TWRP? I can't seem to do it so it's stopping me updating. TWRP just gives me an incorrect password error.
Just a word of warning for those wanting to do the encryption, there's no percentage counter like on other Android ROMs, it will look like it's bootlooping, but is probably not. Don't do what I did and panic.
