Gave it a shot, but the camera did not open, Returned an unexpected error. Overwrote these files: CameraExtensionPermission.apk; SemcCamera3D.apk; SemcCameraUI.apk. I dont know anything about porting, so dont know what else to do. I simply replaced the files in /system/app.

If i replace the cameraUI.apk in the MIUI 4 with the cameraUI.apk from the Lt18i 0.42 GB firmware, will it work? I absolutely hate the new camera.

Tried again, and failed again... still gives me that getprop error :( tried restoring my old .42 fw and then installing MIUI, didnt work. How do i fix this? Please help.

I will try this after work. But please let me know why that getprop error (Status 7) have been popping up. The only reason i got rid of miui was because the 2.4.20 version was based on the ICS beta build. I really want to use this ROM, you guys are doing great work. Thanks brother.

The system folder of the ROM installed on my phone. I can CWM restore my SE .42 GB firmware and then try installing MIUI but in that case will i have to flash the ICS kernel? I should tell you I am still a noob at these things.

But I can see the build.prop file in the system folder, have opened it and seen LT18i written all over it. I am not mixing my phone with LT15.
