I did everythiong new. In the Recovery i wiped everything. Then i nstalled first the deodexed ROM and then the miuiandroid english pack. It's the same. Before i installed everything new i took the Settings.apk from the previuos version 1.6.24. With this Settings.apk was it like it should. I...

I took a look at the strings.xml. There is written the same. So i took the original Settings.apk from here and it's the same. I changed the language in English and no changes.

Hello, i want to change the string from "Trackball wake" to "Trackpad wake" in the Settings.apk. After i recompiled the Settings.apk with the new strings the theme symbols are not shown anymore from the Theme i installed. The standard symbols are shown. What do i wrong? Thanks!

I had the same problem! The guys on miui-germany.de fixed it. It's caused of a string in the framework-res.apk. Are you using any language then english? It's this string. string name="package_behavior_confirmation"

Hello, in the menu of language packs are some text cut off in the menu. I just tried it to changing something in the styles.xml in values of Settings.apk But without success. Can somebody please tell me what do i have to change it that the text isn't anymore cut off? Thanks a lot!
