No more theme symbols after editing strings

Hello,

i want to change the string from "Trackball wake" to "Trackpad wake" in the Settings.apk.

After i recompiled the Settings.apk with the new strings the theme symbols are not shown anymore from the Theme i installed. The standard symbols are shown.

What do i wrong?
