sound in headphones

I have Redmi note 8 pro. My headset, xiaomi buds 3 t pro global edition are connected and working. I want to turn on surround sound, but my equalizer(Mi Sound Enhancer) just doesn't work. It says that i dont have my headphones connected. Mi buds m8 also works, but sound settings just cant be opened.
