13 Ultra ishtar TWRP Update

Hi All,

I have been trying to update the TWRP version on my 13 Ultra (ishtar)

Its currently running version "twrp-3.7.1_12-v9.0_A15-ishtar"

I am following the Devices with Dedicated Recovery Partitions (A/B):

Took me a while to work out i can only flash recovery_ab via fastboot with Volume down + power rather then booting to "twrp fastboot" mode
but after that install was successful or at least i thought so but after a reboot twrp still reports version A15 not a16!

Am I missing a step?

Hi, I seem to be having the same issue. I followed the steps here: https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/installing-a-custom-recovery.67841/
The only thing I did differently was that I used the command prompt to do the flashing. I'm starting to wonder if the update just doesn't show its A16 and still shows A15 because they forgot to change it. I'm not sure if that's actually the case, but my phone crashed once and got stuck in a boot loop. I went into my old twerp and rebooted, and got out of the boot loop. This only happened after the A16 twerp flash too.
