15 Pro imported from China

Hello,
I bought a Xiaomi 15 Pro from China during a visit. I back now to NL, any advice? I heard since this 15 pro with chinese version wont work properly...Can Xiaomi Eu help on this?

Hi, I'm from France, I have the 15 pro from China and no problems with only the bootloader can't be unlocked outside China

@jejemc Hi and thanks for the feedback, I also live in France and I'm on the fence about buying a Xiaomi 15. I have no issue with the phone having english menus etc, my only concern is:

- Google pay
- Streaming platforms like netflix etc, do they run in max resolution?
- Banking apps like boursorama

If you could tell me if these work I would be grateful, thank you

I'm also planning to get one. But for all I can see, Xiaomi no longer supporting getting your device bootloader unlocked. It was due to their government order. So I guess this is it? Will surely not be paying people insane amount to unlock my bootloader. Even 10$ is too much! It was free!

There is a download button at a Netflix app page in Google Play Store. İ didnt tried yet cause of i doesnt have netflix account. I know this is off-topic: do you receive notifications well? I have tried to alter all notifications settings, allowing just about everything and turning off all battery savers, do-not-disturb etc ... but especially WhatsApp notifications will not show reliably

I do. I bought mine from TradingShenzhen. Not sure if this has anything to do with it.

Go to apkmirror.com. Search for Google Playstore, download, do not take a bundle APK, install. Please post in English, otherwise it may be deleted.

Same me. You make sure to try you turn on auto start, no restrictions, lock app

There is no hope. This is a problem with phones released for use in China. Previously, this was solved by installing the xiaomi.eu firmware. Now this is impossible, since the bootloader cannot be unlocked.

You can't solve this issue after new update. CN ROM have abbreviationed Google play service which send WhatsApp, etc.. notification.
