1st Time Installing Rom

hi, recently my note 2 prime has been crashing and heating up a lot, so i'm thinking that probably it has do do with the version that is used ( MIUI 7.00.66.00).
I would like to know if has anyone had this problem before and what is the best ROM to use and how to root and install.

Hello Rui, you already happened to me and that is overheated, then it turns itself off, this is a safety, do not worry. You can install the ROM Xiamoi.eu, you must first install the TWRP recovery

If you install the TWRP is ok job! SuperSu not install, you do not need

fyi i bought this one phone on gearbest, i've already tried some different approaches, but know the phone crashes all day, i can't use it, it consumes all battery in few hours without even using it, and my pc can't even recognise it when i plug it in

Para o teu pc reconhecer o SmartPhone tens que ter a depuração usb ativada. Para a ativares, tens primeiro que ativar a opção programador. Para o fazeres vai às definições do telefone e depois procura pelo número da versão, em cima do número da versão clica sete vezes até dizer você é um programador. Depois aí dentro procura pela depuração usb e ativa-a. Liga o smartphone ao pc e deixa ele instalar as drivers adb. Eu tenho a rom 6.2.18 xiaomi.eu instalada com root. Só irei instalar outra quando sair a versão da miui com o android M. Quanto à autonomia da bateria não me posso queixar, aguenta 2 dias com uso normal, internet, FB, whatapp, hangouts, até já me chegou a durar 3 dias. O meu redmi note 2 prime nunca aqueceu nem nunca se desligou.

no, but i think i got it right with some tutorial and installed twrp but now i can't reboot my phone to safe mode, in neither way

Para o teu pc reconhecer o SmartPhone tens que ter a depuração usb ativada. Para a ativares, tens primeiro que ativar a opção programador. eu isso da depuração usb foi das primeiras coisas que fiz xd ( e foi sem querer). o problema é que supostamente ele já deveria ter instalado isso, mas pronto, eu voltei a instalar e consegui instalar o twrp agora o problema é o de cima, e as apps começarem a crashar 30 segundos depois d eligar o tele, nao consigo ir à play store sacar nem pelo navegador

Right, trying to enter twrp makes my phone stay all black( i reinstalled twrp as recovery.img) and not entering it

Eu no que diz respeito aos downloads não tenho razão de queixa, o meu é rápido a fazer downloads, há um ou outro que é mais lento mas penso que tenha a ver com o servidor onde está alojado. Ainda agora me aconteceu isso ao baixar uma app através do qrcode instalado no smartwatch, para sincronizar o meu smartwatch com o Note 2.

P.S. desculpa só agora responder, mas ao venho aqui todos os dias.

Hello,
a week ago I received the RN 2, version 2015051, pre-installed MIUI 7.0 Stable, 7.0.6.0.0 ( LHMCNCI ).
I tried, following a lot of hints on this and other forums, to install xiaomi Hermes MIUI version, to no avail. Same happens to twrp (for Hermes) and and and. All the time I get the message, signature verification failed.
I also installed the global Dev MIUI, no change. USB debug is enabled. I used several root apps to try to get root, so
I could use flashify to install twrp, its not working. Also used the fastboot way, but when I invoke 'fastboot flash recovery recovery.img' there is no progress. I need to use Windows in virtualbox or VMWare since I only have Linux / Mac systems. The MiRecovery version is 2.0.1 .
On my other Redmi 2, what I got couple weeks ago, it was no problem to switch to xiaomi.eu OS. So, currently I got stucked. Any help and hint is appreciated what leads to an install of twrp and at least an xiaomi.eu MIUI version.. Thanks in advance... Andreas
