New 2.6.15 - sensation xe, dissapearing icons and awful battery life.

Hi everyone!
Is it just me or does anyone else has this problem with icons randomly disappearing and reappearing?
Also, I just moved to MIUI, I love this ROM but the battery life is terrible, with sense 4 rom i used to get nearly 2days without charging, now I get only arround 13-17 hours, not using the phone much, couple messages and couple calls a day + sometimes use facebook or twitter app.
Also the 3g/wi-fi speeds seem to be weirdly slow.
Any help on this?

Any clue how to fix the icon dissapearing?
data speed only problem is latency which is quiet high, or maybe it is just speedtest.net app that conflicts with miui and gives wrong results...
about the battery, did a full wipe yesterday and reinstalled miui and all apps, full charge+battery stats wipe, will see what happens now.

still the biggest problem for me is the icons dissapearing, i want to fix this asap because i am going for holidays and i wont have internet access then

for icon disappearing problem just change the launcher..i use nova prime and it works perfect.

this vanishing icon bug is effecting many people, could you please inform us as to whether miui china are aware of this problem or not.

At present its impossible to use the rom as the bug occurs almost every time you return to the homescreen, rendering the phone unusable until all contents on the screen has been reloaded.
