LThe same thing happens to me on mi9se I can only adjust it from the hardware buttons. Tapping does not save the volume I configured.

It's a bug (or maybe a feature, idk) on stock China Beta, so EU developers may not fix that. It's need to be fixed by Xiaomi developers.

ingbrzy like that is not an error, if it is it goes up very slowly and shortly and when you enter the volume menu again the bar is not where you left it in my mi9se

It's official MIUI issue, should be fixed on 20.5.7..

Volumen style app is one option to resolve it, I had a problem with granting accessibility permission but on reboot it works.

can confirm on K20/9T

And 9T Pro. It's not laggy, you have to slide your finger way down to see any movement in the sound level bar.
Definitely a bug.
