2G/3G Toggle

You can't use Toggle2G.zip with a MIUI rom.
You have to use resingUpdate-1.0.3.zip. Unzip the files in your computer and see readme-first.txt. You have to resing the ROM's flashable zip before to flashing it on your device.
The first time I got Toggle2G works I have to do a full wipe. Otherwise it does't work.

I have done the same (resigned, full wipe, flashed the new rom) on my Samsun Galaxy S2 and it worked fine.

My question is: do I have to redo this manually every time an update to MIUI is available (usually every Friday)? Or can I update using the updater app? If I use the updater app would I retain the toggle 2g/3g app?

My gut feeling is that I should be able to use the updater app as long as the updated MIUI roms keep being signed with the same certificate as the previous version, but I'd like to confirm. Thanks.

I found the answer myself. As I posted here:

After updating MIUI it disappears, but it's easy to extract the MIUI-signed apk from a nandroid backup and reinstall it.
