I use your roms in my MI5s since a first day, excellent job!
With last MM rom I'd average 5.5 h SOT, with new miui 9 I have an average of 4H.. heavy drain in standy!
Is reccomended a clean flash?

Is there a way to change "LTE" to "4G" in status bar?

somewhere the mi A1 is built to host android one, not MIUI.
I know there are many guys going badly straightforward, but doing so sometimes pay off.

Since MIUI9 my E-Mail does not sync in background anymore. I enabled the settings for energy saver in settings -> battery -> energy -> (system apps) E-Mail to "No restrictions". But did not solve the issue.
Additional I changed the rights for Autostart to ON for E-Mail
Via WIFI I have no issue.

Any idea?

The main bug/problem I have noticed is that, sometimes, the weather, clock or google widget does not detect the tap,so if you tap on one on them, nothing happens, and some seconds later you get into those apps!

I noticed on basic clock widget (i only use this one widget, cant really say about others) , sometimes doesn't recognize taps, if i click 3 times for example, after ~10 sec it opens 3 windows...

I'm using Redmi 4 prada
