Installed 8.5.17 on mi5.

Anybody else getting "unsupported device" errors in Pokemon Go since upgrading a Mi5 to android 8?
 
I have problems with the mp3 player pro. He reacts delayed. 8.5.17 Mix 2s

Is it necessary to clean installation and format data from 3.26 (7.0) to 5.17 (8.0) on Mi5?
 
I'm using Redmi 5 Plus. Currently I don't have Face unlock feature. In TWRP, I can backup "cust" partition, but it's not appear in "Wipe" menu. I can't manually delete this partition using root explorer nor TWRP file manager. So, can I run this fastboot command:

fastboot erase cust

without any worries? Can I restore this partition from "cust" TWRP backup?

Hi

I installed manually 8.5.17 on my Mi Mix 2s because OTA on existing 8.5.10 do not recognize new version.

So downloaded and installed via TRWP. But on device after successfully install it shows 8.5.10 instead new one.

Rebooted again and wiped dalvik and cache.
But still 8.5.10 shown.

What's wrong ?
Installing was successful without any errors

just dirty updated to last 8.5.17 from 8.4.4, no issues (many of you reported bootloops), i made a couple of backup but i'm glad i don't need them. i have to say, from when i bought my mi5 i did 2 major upgrades (nougat and oreo) and i never had to wipe anything, always dirty flashed. so, thanks!!
 
Changes to notification are BAD :(. It was way better before. Two fingers swipe for more options it's stupid, not intuitive and hard to pull!
I really don't understand why when you make such changes you don't put an option for the user to select what type of style want to use?
I know it't not miui.eu fault, just pointing out the negative points in this update.
Also camera has a lag for 1 second :(
 
Hello, ive installed the latest stable for redmi 4 pro (9.5.2.0) and I have a bug with led notifications, it only appears with blue colour, what can I do?
 
I have the wifi plugged in and mobile data turned off and the 3G symbol appears to me as if the data were plugged in 8.517 mi5
