Everytime i choose to attach files, um any site, browser opens camera instead storage.

No, It's not his system that is broken. I have the same problem on Mix 2S 8.8.3 even after I made a clean install.

Well I would advice you to use Chrome, as the stock Browser doesn't seem to work the same for Xiaomi.eu.

I will install the new update (8.9.6) , and test it.
If i have the same result, i will try a clean install or install a new browser
