OIS is not as useful as EIS for video recording. Look how stable Redmi Note 5 handheld footage compared to Mi Note 3 one.

Nope, *no-support-for-this-app-on-this-forum*'s EIS doesn't work. It only uses OIS no idea why, I've set the correct build.prop value.
