[9 SE] OTA Update

Hi,

Everytime I try to OTA update de weekly rom, I get the message that says that my memory is encripted and directs me to recovery.

In recovery when I select the ROM, it returns ERROR 7, I know that it is related with 2 command lines in the updater script.

My question is, how can I fix this problems so I can normally OTA update?

"Error 7" in TWRP is a generic error code.

You should read what is written before this error.

What's your TWRP (version/author)?

There is a known issue with the Official TWRP.

Now I can't be sure of the error because I updated it manually, what I have to do is remove a command to verify the phone model in the updater script.

It's TWRP 3.5.0_9-0, I downloaded it from TWRP website for this device.

Yes so it's the Official TWRP, you can use another TWRP like the one I gave above.

Why Official TWRP is bugged? Ask them, I'm not a TWRP dev. ^^

But why is this a problem of TWRP? When I try to normally update and get the encryptation warning I'm on system, not in recovery.

Encryption is not an issue, it's an info message.

Issue of the Official TWRP = Can't install ROMs because it doesn't return "grus" codename (safety check).

I understood that, but that doesn't solve the OTA update, I will always have to go to recovery to update.

Installation should be automatic but I don't have your device.

Again, it's a TWRP's feature (automatic ROM installation).
