AOD turning off in the dark

So as the title says, global stock roms on Xiaomi have this issue where the AOD turns itself in the dark (even if it's set to always), as Xiaomi says to "save battery". But xiaomi.eu has a toggle to prevent that if the user wants, I'm not sure if it's your mod or if it exists in the CN firmware. But anyway, I'm using 15 Ultra on EUXM firmware, and I'm trying to find a solution for this. Is there some mod for this restriction or could it be bypassed in any way? Thanks to all the devs for the great work on your rom but sadly I had to go back to EU because CN firmware has an issue with some camera mods.

Hi, first of all I guess u cant bypass anything because u cant unlock the bootloader.
The only thing that comes ti my mind is the proximity sensors but just if ur covering them with something that I bet its not whats happening.
Soo maybe factory reset it or somehow its an option named always active needs to be there.. idk.

Hi, thanks for the reply. My bootloader is unlocked and I'm rooted, so I'm looking for any advanced solutions. Nothing is covered, it's just a feature (check screenshot).

I tried using this module, but it doesn't work. Obviously only for MIUI...

humm yy amm it seems more a bug with the sensors.. I'll be honest with u, nothing like that ever happened to me soo idrk what to do but if u can just delete data of the module/app form AOD... may work ig:

As it shows in the screenshot above, it's obviously intended effect and not a bug... So I'm looking for a workaround.
