We have AOSP 4.3 for our phones. I was expecting the rom since yesterday when the github was updated and finally its here compiled by cofface.

Whats Working :
Everything (Not sure about the audio recording 3 sec bug)

Cons:
No filemanager
No FM radio
No 3-way reboot option
No opengl-3.0 support(Not even in CM 10.2 , Latest driver from qualcomm has not been included, because its still buggy)
No Apollo music player

Its basically for those who love stock Android

Pros:
Very smooth
Pure stock android experience
Supports exposed framework(with this can have almost all functionality present in CM by installing proper modules) More info on xda

Actually i thought everyone would have some aosp experience with there old phone so didn't post these. You can google more about aosp before posting questions about what is present and what is not

Updated the kernel, fixed some bugs
- Updated some configuration to reduce power consumption
- Included GMS service pack by default
- Removed File Explorer, need to install a third-party file management app
- Added OTA. ROM version is based on the release date like MIUI. This update's version is 3.9.9

well i had a build i was going to post for this as well. I can say with probably 100% that all the bugs we see with other roms (cm/aokp) will be here as well since we still only have the same kernel/libs/drivers...

well i had a build i was going to post for this as well. I can say with probably 100% that all the bugs we see with other roms (cm/aokp) will be here as well since we still only have the same kernel/libs/drivers...

Well, that's what I was thinking... We all really depends on what xiaomi wants to give us... Hopefully kernel will be release once mi3 gets out

Camera,video (with sound) also work

i am investigating...it's not a camera app issue. I rebuilt cm10.2 with gallery2 right from AOSP source still same issue. So the problem points to audio libs used. i am going to try to swap out the CM libs with the AOSP libs to see what happens. for now tho i am taking a break been going at this all day...more tonight...and yes i will try to post a AOSP build with root.

edit: root giving me problems...not sure what's wrong...

But when i flashed and used for more than half a day i felt butter smooth
Android evolved beautifully

Everything you might need works great, minus some minor issues like single color led lights, etc.

Both builds are faster than MIUI, no surprise given all the extra stuff shoved into it and sure show nexus owners they aren't the only ones getting love.

Right now I'm dual booting Marvin MIUI and cm10.2.

So just get tdb enabled on your MI2 and test it out on your own, it's bliss all around for us Xiaomi users right now.

It's not official, this is cofface rom's.
