Invalid APKs (and AI button, OK google)

Hey!

So I am new to Custom ROMs etc and today I installed my first custom ROM; Xiaomi.EU, but it seems APKs cannot install; it just says 'Can't open file' and the AI button doesn't work with Google Assistant.

I am running MIUI 10.5 9.8.15 Beta on the Mi 9

Thanks in advance, the APKs is the biggest problem though

I have this same message when I try to install from notification tray. Opening the APK from the file manager I can install any app normally.

Omg thank you so much!!!! It worked. I use APKs more then the Play Store! Thanks again!
