New Battery drain by android

Hello everyone,I've been having some issues with the battery of my mi8. I just changed from weekly to stable build, and this problem persists. Can't seem to find the cause anywhere.any ideas?

Android has to rebuild system databases after installing new ROM or a factory reset. This process consumes very much energy. If there are lots of data, media files or images rebuilding takes many hours. Therefore wait at least one or two days before you compare battery consumption.

Thanks for the input,will wait to see if something changes. The problem seems to be getting weaker, though cell standby is draining more now

I can confirm the drain of battery. Still Mi8.

I have similar problem on my Mi5X after last weekly update (9.4.25). Android system uses over 20% and below 30% of battery, drain increase much more. Will change of kernel can help?
