New Biometric detection cannot be performed

Hi,

i have a Mi10 UMI. with the latest update of 12.5.7, with Microsoft Launcher set as default launcher. double tap to sleep using accessibility mode. i had used this for the longest time i remember.

however with the latest update, im unable to unlock with fingerprint, if i double tap to sleep on launcher.
pressing power button to sleep and unlock with fingerprint, but not with accessibility mode.
isnt that is very weird bug? something that has been working, but broken by Mi?

Note: the error code is 'Biometric detection cannot be performed due to the use of three-party one-key screen lock function'.
yes three-party, typo in such a way.

Updated to latest update 12.5.8 mi10. Still unable to unlock

Given the current issues with the third party launchers, maybe it is not linked with the Xiaomi.eu custom ROM. Did you try Xiaomi's forums ?

We don't use any "one-key screen lock function" on our ROMs.
