Build.prop Not Found [redmi Note 4x/mido] [unlocked] [not Rooted]

I wanted to enable camera2 Api, and found this guide [GUIDE] Enable Camera2 API Without Root [mido]

But when I'm running adb, build.prop can not be found. (I have been succesful copying other files.) I also can not find it using the file manager of twrp.

Does anyone have any idea what is wrong. Or do I just have to root my phone?

build.prop is in System partition, make sure you have mounted it in TWRP

Build.prop is in the root path, you've got to root your device

You have to root your phone to access build.prop.
After you root your phone I recommend you install Build.prop Editor from the Play Store for easy editing of that file.

..or if you rooted it with Magisk you can enable Camera2API with a Magisk module.
