Can Not Flash The Rom

1. I unlocked the bootloader
2. flashed the TWRP
(the phone does not reboot to the "normal" Android system anymore. The screen only shows the mi.com icon without Android sign + 3 dots running at the bottom)
3. Transferred the latest XiaomiEU Gloabl Multilang Rom .zip file (6.9.8_v8-6.0) to an external card, inserted the card in my Redmi Pro, selected wipe>format data and type 'yes' to format the data
4. Clicked on Install to install the new ROM
5. get the "Failed" message!

Can someone help?

This is an excellent guide for novices like myself. One easily forgets the steps and things change constantly. I was thinking to post something like that yesterday, after I managed to flash the ROM. Maybe I do. I think the step with the TWRP in Chinese could be more explicit (someone posted an excellent YouTube clip on my question)
