I have xiaomi 13 ultra which runs on miui 14.0.20.0. recently i changed my broken LCD. I had fingerprint lock on the device before changing the LCD. Screen change was good but when i placed my finger to unlock the device it was not unlocking. Then I remove the fingerprint from the settings to add the new one but when i try to add light is glowing on the sensor but not accepting the fingerprint. Then i entered the CIT mode to verify that the fingerprint sensor is working but on that i am getting CALI test - FALSE rest all tests are PASS. Can anyone guide how to fix this. I hope I need to reset the fingerprint sensor data stored on the system. If yes how to do that???

hey i have the same problem on a 13 pro, the seller i got it from sold me this phone for way under its asking price but with a replaced screen, but i cannot get my fingerprints to work

would having them calibrate the sensor fix it?

edit: yea it got fixed

i'm not technician but i think the replaced screen could be aftermarket and it just don't have option of finger print detector (that's my theory at least) :)

Quite late but, I used the settings app to do so. I went to about phone, all specs, tapped on kernel version until the CIT menu appeared, tapped the 3 dots on top right corner, then tapped additional tools and lastly from there I tapped "fod fingerprint calibration"

then you just follow the steps on the screen, you first lay down a white piece of cloth (or paper,it worked for me), then for the second one a black piece of cloth (I just used a black sports shirt) and then for the third test I just laid innards of my index finger on the sensor. But, you have to be patient, it took me like 4-5 tries to get it calibrated.
Then just restart the device and add your fingerprint.
