There was a setting before in Miui which was enabling the volume buttons to move the text cursor... i enabled it and choose direction for the slider too but after one or two updates it seems that its gone... I can still move the text cursor with the volume keys but i cannot disable it or change the direction the cursor moves... i am using the latest multilanguage (miuiandroid) rom 3.8.29/30
