Cannot See Files From Apps Installed

cannot see any files installed by the apps. cannot get any saved files to restore later or copy to another device. why is this?

Hi.
OK I'll try to explain a little bit more.
I install an app which will create an output file.
In android 4.4 I went to the folder and copied the file.
With Miui I cannot get the file. It's still created but I cannot reach it using the explorer.
Home this was more clear.

Files for system apps you find in "internal storage/system/apps" as well as in "internal storage /system /private apps/"
Installed apps in "internal storage/Data/app/"

Why you don't try to use Root Explorer ?

No, not encrypted as well. This is odd, for sure...
I use Total Commander, that uses the root access to search for files, etc. Cannot get anything from that app.
