Cannot update to 8.8.9

I have 8.7.5 weekly installed in my mi8 se
Downloaded the latest rom through updater but if i install it just reboots to 8.7.5 version and not to 8.8.9

what are the functions of mi 8 concerning version 8.7.5? es. added functionality to the camera ...
