the problem I have is that when I use the 4G in Spain it does not work properly and the calls are cut, to others the coverage is very unstable and the minimum distance from the city is constant loss of coverage (in other mobile phones with the same SIM does not pass)

Mi5C does not have all the 4G bands used in Europe. Depending on the city you are, your telephony provider can use one or another. Just for the record, last week in a village in Zaragoza (Sos del Rey Católico), out of 4 Xiaomi phones only my wife's Mix 2 was getting 4G signal, the other three phones (Mi5, Mi6 and Redmi Note 4) used 3G, because in villages and small cities band 20 is often used. Your phone, as the three phones we used, does not support that band, and I'm afraid that it cannot be solved, because it's a hardware problem.

Saludos/Regards.

Edit.

I don't know if you've seen that to make Mi5C work with 4G you have to activate it: https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-5c/how-to/mi-5c-4g-data-bands-t3572505
