The problem exist when You have few applications doing the same. For example two gallery application. When the first time You skip default choose (for example, when you add photo into the mms), you can't set up this in next time because option "use always" never shows again.

Go to settings-> apps-> select the app-> clear launch by default

I know that it should fix problem, but in SMS application, when I want add photo to mms, always I see three applications Gallery Miui, Gallery HTC, and file manager. I can't set up default application,this option I saw only once. In sms application, I don't have any defaults, and Htc Gallery is my defult application for photos (when I run photo from file manager it start correctly without any questions) .
