default application settings...missing?

for the life of me i cannot find the default application settings in miui anymore. as i recall it was under settings->programs->application defaults, can anyone confirm that this is missing for them or that the location of the config for this is different than i thought?

I also found out today it is missing. Really missing

Try going to the current default app "page" (where you click uninstall), and click on "Clear Default".

Missing too here.
Clearing "default" (for browser, in my case) does not fix.

According to 1.8.5 changelog, it was deleted on purpose (I cannot see the reason, though :?: )

Settings:
Optimized Added “notification” to vibration options to control whether to vibrate while general notifications received
Optimized Added processors and memory info in System Settings -> System -> About phone
Optimized Moved media keys to “System -> Keys”
Repaired Related settings won’t display in “program” tab if the corresponding app is not installed,
Deleted “Default settings” under “program” tab
