Default browser at Mi8

Hi,
I am a quite happy owner of Mi8 with EU 20.1.2 on board.
What bothers me a lot is a default browser. I set it to Chrome and after some time the device set it back to Browser. I am a little tired of switching default browsers. What I am doing wrong? How to set it to Chrome forever?

I'm using Mi 8 with Chrome set as the default browser, and I just can't reproduce this...
