I am looking to work for a way to delta download the weekly? Is anybody working/interested in the same? Currently the 500Mb download per month is eating into the bandwidth cap the ISPs put here.
Assumption is that not enough changes from one weekly release to another to warrant a full ROM download
Questions:
1. What is the current command used to create the zip file (version, flags etc) ...this will be required to recreate the zip based on the last ROM
2. Can we use tgz instead of zip? Is that supported by the recoveries..especially TWRP?
3. If this is implemented, will the maintainers be willing to run the few extra commands required to create the Deltas every week?
