If in the future hardware attestation is going to be mandatory and it will all be checked through Play Integrity APIs...what will happen then exactly ?
Will there still be a bypass or will the users of these ROMs just use alternatives for everything that enforces Play Integrity checking ? That's going to be hard because any app developer can add this checking for DRM purposes and essential stuff like banking/Google Pay will be a mess.
I'm just curious if the community has any stance on this. I, personally, don't like this direction...but it's not like I'm choosing it.
EDIT: There's also the variant that Xiaomi never actually does implement it in their phones, or that they will allow bootloader unlocking without bypassing it...who knows
