Dont Flash MIUI 12.2 20.9.24 on Mi9

First time I have had a problem with a weekly rom. Have flashed to 24/9 and have two main problems

Phone (green button) which you use to call people no longer works- Receive an error saying photo has stopped working

SMS messages are relabelled copy-

Have re flashed 19/9 and all works again... apart from gallery as it would seem the 24/9 flash updated gallery and cant roll back- sorted by downloading 3 party gallery app which works.

Waiting for next update which will hopefully resolve the issues

Hello,

You got no answers but your issue was a caching issue => Manually remove "/data/system/package_cache" folder and then reboot your device = Issue fixed.

This issue should be fixed for good : It was fixed in 20.10.29 => Changelog: Fix - App resources were getting corrupted after a ROM update for some devices.

New problem I have just updated to 5-11-20 beta. Have magisk 20.4 (20400) but safety test has failed- First time I have had a fail

Fail (Responce payload validation failed) returned by safetynet

Running via magisk also fails- Attestation Failed- basicintegrity - ctsprofile- evalType Basic

I updated to 28_12 rom- no problem
Updated magisk and entered a boot loop
Factory reset phone wiped data/cache/davik and try to install rom
but receive a strange error which I cant seem to get past
I have spend a few hour searching the forum but cant find an answer that works-any ideas

Have also updated adb and TWRP to 3.3.1-35

You want to do a clean install? If yes, you should "Format Data" (in TWRP => "Wipe" menu > "Format Data" button).

After that, reboot to TWRP (in TWRP => "Reboot" menu => "Recovery") to be able to transfert files between your device and your computer.

Do not forget you must flash Magisk v21.x on Android 11. Latest version is: Magisk-v21.2.zip

You may need to reboot recovery to be able to use data again
Updating partition details.....

Then reboot to recovery-swipe to reboot

Boots into recovery

Try to load 28/12 same error no space left on device
Try to load older rom same error no space left on device
This time however I did have an error appear in windows which said error unabe to mount image
Try to load magisk zip you sent just to ensure I am not going crazy and everything is working and that works correctly zip file appears in tmp

For whatever reason I cannot load any rom

Change file system for data - changed to EXT2 and then back to EXT4
Also avdance wipe -wipe Internall storage
All succeeded with no errors- Try to load rom and no success-same error no space left on device

Just strated again
factory reset
reformat data
now data is OK in F2F

You can also "Format Data" again too.
No matter what I did having cache in f2fs always came with error unable to mount
So have data now in f2fs and cache nack in ext4 no errors
just reloaded rom
phone has booted now restoring back up but all looking good
